The other thing that requires emotional intelligence is how to handle those hostile people who surround us. Some people are very harsh in their conversation some of whom may be your close friends or even customers. Here, one will have to apply emotional intelligence to handle such a situation. You cannot afford to let your business fall due to lack of emotional intelligence.
